Timelock implemented a biometric access control system at the Três Rios Condominium using VIRDI equipment and ACURA's AutoID RFID solution.

The building, located in Belo Horizonte – MG, now has a modern and efficient infrastructure, aligned with the growing trend of using biometric and RFID technologies in environments that require security, traceability, and speed. With biometric terminals installed at the entrances and reception, the entry flow has become more practical for residents and visitors, while reinforcing the overall security level of the condominium. As the volume of circulation in the area can be high at certain times, the speed of access release was an essential factor to be addressed.

To meet this need, a complete and reliable access control platform was implemented, specially designed for residential and condominium environments. The terminals used were the AC-2000 models, manufactured by VIRDI and distributed in Brazil by ACURA, combined with RFID access cards from the same brand. The choice of this equipment ensured accurate identification, high durability, and excellent performance even under conditions of intensive use.

The project also integrated the AutoID Seguro system for vehicle access control via RFID, using the EDGE30R reader. The combination of biometric identification technology for pedestrians and the RFID solution for vehicles provided a unified system, allowing residents and visitors to circulate simply, quickly, and with complete security. This integration increased the efficiency of the condominium, facilitating the work of the concierge team and reducing queues during peak hours.

The implemented technology demonstrated exceptional performance from the start, delivering a superior experience to all users. The combination of biometrics and RFID proved highly suitable for the environment, offering practicality, reliability, and excellent cost-effectiveness, without the need for large structural investments. In addition, the modern design of the equipment and the ease of installation contributed to the rapid adoption and acceptance of the system.
