ACURA RFID Reader Ensures Asset Control for Sheraton Hotels
Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. is the world's most global luxury hotel company. Its strength lies in nine distinct lifestyle brands, an award-winning loyalty program, and 181,400 talented employees worldwide. This project was developed in one of its units in Brazil with the purpose of demonstrating the feasibility of automating the room inventory process using RFID technology. Therefore, the main objective is to control assets, simplifying the consultation and verification process for the operational staff of this unit.
The INOVA Patrimônio RFID solution has a simple and immediate installation, simply by downloading the application on any Android device. Upon logging in, all company information will already be pre-registered. The solution includes a video manual (tutorials), fully online, and real-time web support. The software with hybrid technology allows the use of RFID, barcodes, or visual identification of the BRFID partner.

Intelligent Asset Control and Inventory with RFID
Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide Inc. is one of the world's largest and most global hospitality companies, with nine distinct lifestyle brands, an award-winning loyalty program, and 181,400 talented employees. To reduce asset verification and control time, as well as increase inventory accuracy, RFID technology was implemented using the 900-BT reader and RFID tags.
A fully integrated data structure was created with a cloud database, allowing easy integration with legacy systems and instant scalability as new users join. The use of the cloud ensures security, automatic backups, and redundancy, guaranteeing continuous 24/7 operation.
Each hotel item receives an RFID tag, and verification is performed using the 900-BT reader, which identifies objects without needing to remove them from their location. During verification, it is possible to access asset registration information, such as model, manufacturer, location, and cost center.
Integrating the database with the RFID system prevents errors, speeds up material verification, and ensures more efficient asset control, resulting in greater security, speed, and accuracy in operations.
